Interesting information: I first saw Egyptian-style belly dance on TV as a child. It was the great Samia Gamal in one of her rare appearances in an American movie.
It wasn’t until several years later, during a 12-year stay in Germany, that I had the opportunity to take lessons and study with an Egyptian teacher.
Since then, I have performed at countless events and shows in Germany, Ireland the UK and have been teaching Egyptian style for several years.
