I am furious when people said that oriental dance came from turkey, and others says from india!!! NO, no and no. It is a very old dance, more then 5000 years and originally it came from the pharaonic dance, they were dancing for the ''deesse'' of birth, it was helping women to give birth, then the evolution of the dance came and change over the years, like the music, the costumes, the sex [I mean now there is male dancers], the performance and even the stage.
