Interesting information: I started belly dance 7 years ago. A friend of mine had always wanted to try it, so I went along with her, she left the class 2 weeks later and I stayed on. I love this wonderful dance, it is such a magical dance form, mysterious and yet familiar, the beautiful dance moves compliment the female form so well, in fact, it celebrates all that is female. As well as this, it is therapeutic and has been used as an anti natal exercise in helping to ease the pain of labour with its lyrical moves. Some even think it is a fertility dance!!! Hey, it is just so good for so many things, and you will meet such wonderful friends in the class! Have a go!
